Data Collection

We do not collect any personal data. Our extensions:

• Do NOT collect personal information
• Do NOT track browsing activity
• Do NOT use analytics or tracking services
• Do NOT send data to external servers
• Do NOT use cookies
• Do NOT share data with third parties

Local Storage

Some extensions use Chrome's local storage API (chrome.storage.local) to save your preferences and data locally on your device:

• PixelColor: Saved color palettes and recent color history
• QR Snap: Recently generated QR code history
• ClipStash: Clipboard items you choose to save
• JSON Tidy: Last edited JSON content (auto-save)
• PageRuler: User preferences

This data is stored only on your device and is never transmitted anywhere. You can clear this data at any time by uninstalling the extension or clearing Chrome's extension data.

Permissions

Our extensions request only the minimum permissions necessary:

• storage: To save your preferences and data locally
• activeTab: To interact with the current webpage (only when you click the extension)
• scripting: To inject measurement tools into the current page (PageRuler only)
• alarms: For periodic cleanup of old data (ClipStash only)

Third-Party Libraries

QR Snap includes two open-source libraries that run entirely locally:

• qrcode-generator (MIT License) — for QR code generation
• jsQR (Apache 2.0 License) — for QR code scanning

These libraries do not make any network requests.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
